　　报告人简介：David Hopkins，苏格兰农业大学中央学院院长（Professor and Dean of the Central Faculty，Scotland’s Rural College），博士（Doctor of Science），教授，土壤生物学家。主要研究土壤生态、养分循环和土壤生物化学过程。与欧洲其它国家、美国、加拿大、新西兰、南非和纳米比亚等开展了广泛的国际合作研究。现为英国国家南极研究委员会委员，英国环境释放咨询委员会（the UK Advisory Committee on Releases into the Environment）委员。2007-2008年曾任英国土壤学会（the British Society of Soil Science）主席。2006-2011年曾任苏格兰作物研究所（现在的The James Hutton Institute）科研所长，斯特林大学（the University of Stirling，Scotland)环境生物地球化学兼职教授。2011-2014年曾任赫瑞瓦特大学生命学院院长和环境微生物教授。2014-2018年曾任皇家农业大学农业食品和环境学院院长，土壤学教授。曾任Journal of Soil Science副主编（1991-1993），European Journal of Soils Science副主编（1994-2007），现为Soil Biology & Biochemistry主题编辑, Plant & Soil编委, Biology & Fertility of Soils区域编辑和编委, Annals in Environmental Science编委，Journal of Environmental Quality and Safety编委等。
